GIFLY Privacy Policy

This policy covers the NIKI TOOLS GIFLY Mac app and GIFLY support enquiries. Local processing in the paid Mac app is distinct from the advertising-supported free NIKI TOOLS web tools.
Local file processing
GIFLY processes the images and videos you select locally on your Mac to create GIF, APNG and MP4 files. GIFLY does not upload these files to a server. The app has no account registration, advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs and does not collect personal data.
Local storage and deletion
Your language preference is saved on your Mac. Selected media and extracted video frames are copied to temporary local storage for processing. The app removes its work storage during normal termination; temporary files may remain after abnormal termination. Exported files remain in the location you choose until you delete them.
App Store purchases and support
Apple handles App Store purchases under Apple’s own privacy policies. If you contact support by email, your email address and the information you send are used to respond. Do not send private media unless it is needed to investigate a problem and you choose to share it. You may request access to or deletion of support information via the contact page.
Privacy page and free web tools
This privacy page and the NIKI TOOLS product and support pages use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the site. Free web tools may show advertising, but the GIFLY Mac app contains no advertising. Source files and output files selected in a web tool are not sent to the advertising provider.
